Yes, diluted. A few drops in water works beautifully. What doesn't work is thick oils, butters and creams, or conditioner straight from the bottle — they clog the nozzle and you'll spend more time cleaning it than using it.
Both. On wet hair it detangles after the shower without ripping. On dry hair it's a day-two reset: a light mist, one pass, and the curl pattern comes back.
It's built for curly, thick and frizzy hair, which is the hardest case. It works just as well on fine and straight hair — you'll simply need less water.
That's what most people buy it for. The bristles have rounded tips and the vented head flexes around knots instead of dragging them. Misting as you go is the part that stops the pulling.
The reservoir has a leak-resistant seal and the brush comes with a waterproof zip pouch. Screw the head on until it seats and it travels fine with water still in it.
Rinse the bristles under warm water after use and empty the tank when you're done — standing water in a reservoir is how it starts to smell. Don't submerge the handle.
